Software withdrawal IBM System z Products

Here's one of the usual announcements on withdrawal of support for a number of System z softwares : 'Software withdrawal and service discontinuance: IBM System z selected products (ZP10-0034)'. You should really go through the list to see whether you have to take some actions.

I'm just picking out a few of them :

• IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler for z/OS V8.2 is End of Support on April 30, 2011. It's replaced by IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler for z/OS V8.3.
• CICS Transaction Gateway for z/OS 6.1 is also withdrawn from service April 30, 2011 and is replaced by CICS Transaction Gateway for z/OS 7.2.
• Print Services Facility for z/OS V4.1 is withdrawn on September 30, 2010 and V4.2 is withdrawn November 18, 2011. They are both replaced by Print Services Facility for z/OS V4.3.
• It's interesting to see that z/VSE v4.1.2 will be supported until September 30, 2010 instead of the previously announced April 30, 2010. This gives customers some more time to migrate to its successor z/VSE v4.2.
